Next show: We’re going to Vegas, baby!
On the 15th of January, we commence rehearsals for our next show, “Viva Las Vegas”
The date for the performances are still to be confirmed, but should be in summer 2010 some time.
We'll be singing a range of big numbers that would be well at home in a glitzy Vegas show, originally sung by some of the great performers who have appeared there — expect to feel yourself transported to the South Western USA...
Rumours that the male chorus are going to be dressed as show-girls are almost certainly unfounded!

Whodunnit?
As well as staging musicals and concerts, we occasionally do other kinds of shows.
March 2010 (date unconfirmed) should see us staging a Murder Mystery evening — with a whodunnit acted out, and food during the interval, it should be a great evening.

Spectacular Christmas Spectacular
Congratulations to everyone - cast and audience - who managed to make it to our Christmas Spectacular on the 21st of December, 2009.
Everyone who braved the snow and the traffic seems to have had a great time, and to be really in the mood for Christmas, even if they weren't looking forward to the drive home — though the roads do seem to have been better!
Particular note was made of the costume that Sarah Jay wore for her rendition of “Santa Baby” which caused a few eyes to pop...

Carol Singing at Waddesdon Manor
We had a lovely trip to Waddesdon Manor on the weekend of the 12th and 13th of December.
A number of performances in the grounds were followed by a meal and then an impromptu sing-song in the hotel — and this latter led us to a further performance in the morning for the local pre-school children, and a (paid) booking for Christmas next year!
